Cooking of the raw resins for several days. In the interim sun thickening the walnut oil.


Cooking of the varnish itself combing the resins to the oil.


Making the natural colors from organic materials that were available in the 17th century.

Grinding the varnish and the colors together.


Applying the ground coat, followed by the sealer coat, in turn followed by the color coats. Letting it dry in sun or light-box and final polishing.
